Today is my friend Alex Vo’s birthday! Technically the 16th was but we celebrated it today! I know he sometimes reads my blog so I’ll just give him a shout out. I just wrote this pointless blog about the weather so I decided to scrap it. I’ve got some subjects I’d like to talk about but I’ve decided to save it for another day. I’m trying to focus on getting TiffanyBee all up to date. Re-organizing your pictures is a pain in the butt but I wouldn’t have done it had the server not crashed so I guess that was a good thing…? All in all, happy holidays to all of you & I hope you have the very best Winter (or Summer in an Australian’s case) Break. If you’re in awful situation, try to make the best of it. A crummy attitude won’t make a crummy situation any better. Spend time with those you love most.

My finals are over so now I have more free time which means more updates & hopefully getting TiffanyBee back on track. I need to make two new layouts that are cleaner looking because I’m getting really tired of my current layout. I don’t have a thoughtful blog today because I’m really tired but the next one will be!

Seasons greetings to all! Christmas, Hanukkah, [insert all other religious holidays in December here], & New Year’s Eve is coming up. I’m sure most of you are either planning on shopping for gifts, wrapping your gifts, &/or making resolutions. Here’s a short list of my resolutions:

• 1. Cuss a lot less
• 2. Do better in school
• 3. Make use of my gym card
• 4. Save up more money!

Have you ever watched a movie or observed a certain situation & failed to comprehend how people reacted the way that they did or thought it just wasn’t logical? I know that sounds really vague but sometimes you see your friends do some crazy things or say things that are absurd & out of the ordinary & you ponder why they make the choices or even feel the way that they do. Have you ever seen a certain situation play out & think how stupid the people involved were but then you yourself were put in that same situation & you reacted the same way the people you once thought were stupid reacted? We all know better but sometimes we just can’t help it. You may know what the logical choice should be but you do what you feel in your heart is right.

Choices change when you’re in the spotlight. You see things differently & you start to understand people’s choices. Humans are an emotional species & we often act on our emotions instead of making logical decisions. It’s why peace is often difficult to achieve & diplomacy is often ruled out. We let our emotions make our decisions instead of letting our brains pick the right choice. It gets us in a lot of trouble sometimes but it can also find us happiness. You can sit back & judge your friend’s decisions, actions, choices all you want but then when you’re put in their shoes, your perspective changes & you might even start to respect them. Sometimes when you see your friend moping around over their ex & you just don’t understand why they can’t get over it already you need to remember that you’d probably be in that same position had you been in their shoes. Who are we to judge? You never really know what people go through until you go through it yourself.

I’ve failed to understand a lot of people’s decisions. Such as my classmate who proposed to his wife after 13 days of meeting her. They’ve been married for 7 years. I thought he was crazy but that’s because I had never been in love before until now. I’m pretty sure my friends think I’m crazy but that’s because they’ve never been in love Don’t be so quick to judge until you know what they’re going through. They may not care whether or not you support or believe them but if you were put in their situation, I’m sure you’d want someone you could trust–someone you knew would understand. I am thankful that I do have a supportive friend or two.
